Alaska is a strikingly handsome dog who fits right in with our Canadian winters. This big guy was very fearful and shut down when he arrived at the shelter, but he has made great strides in his confidence. He now enjoys going for walks with our volunteers and will even get the zoomies! Alaska is looking for an experienced, adult only home, and his adopters should familiarize themselves with the traits of Northern breeds. Relationship building will be required prior to bringing Alaska home – while this may be a slower process, it will be well worth it to win the loyalty of this special boy!
