The Bearspaw Farmers’ Market will now be hosting a second weekly market on Wednesdays starting this month.
In addition to the weekly market the Bearspaw Lions host every Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., a second night market will now be held on Wednesdays from 3:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Bearspaw Lions Hall parking lot at 25240 Nagway Road., located off of Highway 1A off of Bearspaw Road.
Organizers say the market will feature some of the regular Sunday vendors as well as some new faces.
Volunteers run the market, with proceeds going to a variety of charitable causes as chosen by the organization. Past recipients include Cochrane Activettes, STARS air ambulance, the Cancer Society, Red Cross, Heart & Stroke Foundation, and the Interfaith Food Bank.
