At 8:24 a.m. Saturday morning (Dec. 7) Airdrie RCMP responded to a call of a single vehicle collision.
In a press release RCMP confirmed that an SUV travelling on Big Hill Springs Road near Range Rd. 25 struck a deer and left the road. The vehicle rolled down an embankment. One adult male was located near the vehicle. He was found deceased at the scene.
An investigation is underway by the RCMP to determine the time of the collision and contributing factors. Further updates are not anticipated.
