Chestermere RCMP arrested a suspect after responding to a residence in West Lakeview at 6:45 a.m. Saturday morning.
Police had responded after receiving reports of gunfire. A male had fired shots within his house and had barricaded himself inside. He was believed to be alone and no incidents or injuries were reported.
The Chestermere RCMP would like to thank the residents for their patience and cooperation. There will be no further updates.
