The Cochrane Generals got a huge win tonight over the Okotoks Bisons to tie their Heritage Junior Hockey League (HJHL) third-round series at two games apiece.

After a scoreless first period, team captain Brandon Aab potted a goal to make it 1-0 in favour of the home team. Chris Sambrook had the chance to further the lead in the third period with a penalty shot, but failed to score. It didn't seem to rattle the Generals though as Taylor Girard made it 2-0 in the third period. Okotoks came roaring back with two goals of their own including one in the dying minutes, sending the game to overtime where Patrick Forde netted the game winning goal.

The teams will now await wording on if the remainder of the series will continue due to the Covid-19 outbreak. Game 5 is scheduled to take place tomorrow night in Okotoks.
