Every Friday

The Legion holds a Friday night barbecue every Friday night from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Membership not required and they'll be serving steak for $10.00 and burgers for $8.00 with all the fixings of potatoes, beans, salad and garlic bread. Families are welcome.

Monthly Exhibit

The Cochrane Visitor Centre will be hosting a showcase wall featuring a local artist each month. The month of March will feature local artist Karen Orser, who does a variety of arts in acrylics, will be on site outside of the centre on March 2 and 3 doing a painting demo.

March 9

March 9 is a very busy day for the community of Cochrane with a slew of events starting. To start off, from 10:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. will be the Clubhouse Art Walk. Located at Historic Cochrane Ranche, local artists show and sell their work, giving Cochrane and area art lovers the opportunity to meet the artists and learn about their creations.

Also taking place from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. is the International Women's Day Celebration with the Cochrane Library at the beautiful Links of Gleneagles. Listen to a few inspiring keynote speakers and network with other local women as we move towards a more gender-inclusive world.
