A holy folk rock trinity has emerged from the wilds of British Columbia and that trinity is The Lion, The Bear, The Fox.

They will be returning to the Legacy Guitar and Coffee House May 29 and be sure they won’t disappoint.

In May of 2012, the three set out on tour to promote their respective solo efforts and eventually they coalesced after forming an unshakable bond around their dreams of what they hoped to accomplish as artists.

And the bond has solidified into something meaningful.

In the eight months since the band’s inaugural show, The Lion, The Bear, The Fox secured a Top 20 position on 102.7 the Peak’s “Peak Performance Project,” released their debut EP We’d Be Good Men in October 2013 and seduced sold-out venues across Western Canada.

Characterized by the plethora of distinct environment of performances – bedrooms, basements, boardrooms and open spaces across B.C. – the album showcases genuine energy and drive to experiment for the three.

The band has also become involved in a partnership with the music therapy group Music Heals and the band’s own initiative, bandwagonproject.com, which aims to increase the use of mobile recording studios in care facilities for patients facing a life-altering diagnosis and people with special needs.

Catch them at the Legacy May 29 and visit legacyguitarhouse.com for tickets.
