4-H club holds speaking event

The Jumping Pound 4-H Club held their annual public speaking competition. In the junior division, Caitlyn Matthews placed first, and Kylie Sibbald second, with alternate Kalsie Sibbald. Matthews then moved on to the district level of public speaking.

Matthews then moved on to the district level of public speaking. Intermediates Cole Cartwright placed first and Madison Sibbald second, followed by alternate Connor Cartwright. Sibbald and Cartwright then moved on to areas and the district level as well.

Senior member Megan McLeod placed first.

The club thanks judges Terry Zilkowski, Angela Japp, Wendy Gold, Bevin Hamilton and Laura Laing for their time.
