Dear Editor:

Jacket Racket provided a fun and safe environment where individuals and families came to get geared up for winter.

Last weekend at the Cochrane Alliance Church over 200 individuals and families were able to access warm winter wear. It’s safe to say that Jacket Racket 2012 was a tremendous success.

On behalf of The Western Rocky View Family & Community Resource Centre and Parent Link Centre we would like to thank the following organizations/individuals for their continuing support of Jacket Racket: Cochrane Safeway, Cochrane Alliance Church, Dana Stephenson & Volunteers, The Bargain Shop, M&M Meat Shops, Fire Hall, Coca-Cola Refreshments, Dry Cleaning by Dave, Cochrane Youth Association and Cochrane McDonald’s. Without you this event would have not been possible.

Lastly, we would like to thank the community. The jackets you donated have helped many individuals and families to be better equipped to deal with winter weather conditions. Your support and generosity does not go unnoticed.
