I would like to pose the following question to all Albertans as we edge ever closer to the October Federal election:

“Exactly how much support/backing are we as Albertans going to get from a second-term Liberal government after the results are all in?”

Yup, that’s right, absolutely none.

We had better hope voters in Ontario and Quebec are as sick of this government as we are here in Alberta. I’m pretty sure there aren’t many Alberta Liberals left who totally agree with their party’s four-year term record, but I’ve been surprised before.

That is exactly what can’t happen. I urge all Albertans to take the time to actually “review” our current federal government’s track record and then vote. Come out and vote in droves.

It’s unfortunate our electoral system isn’t structured such that each and every Canadian province/territory would have the same number of electoral votes. For years and years, the Canadian West hasn’t had any real input when it comes to electing our federal representatives and it’s time that changed.
No, I’m not holding my breath but the idea has to be dealt with.

Let’s all work toward getting this province back on it’s feet. We’ve started with fixing our provincial government….now let’s fix the big one!

Thank you for your attention.
