Mandel has no chance

I certainly agree that no one should entertain Stephen Mandel after what he did to Edmontonians as mayor. There is nothing democratic about this guy.

I certainly agree that no one should entertain Stephen Mandel after what he did to Edmontonians as mayor.

There is nothing democratic about this guy. He refused to allow the people to vote on building the new arena and forced us into a $675 million debt, without having a plan to dispose of the old one. Now it's going to cost millions.

We lost the National Finals Rodeo that brought in millions each year for our businesses. He refused to allow the people to vote on the fate of the City Centre Airport, although two other mayors had done so and the people chose to keep it, so 93,000 people signed a petition to force him to give them their democratic right and he used the excuse that they were one day late getting it registered with the city. He showed no respect for the people who signed it.

Now the big question people are asking is, "What is it costing taxpayers to replace all the contaminated soil from that site?" The developers are finding there is a real problem with creating a traffic flow out of that area that won't cause a serious traffic jam mess. The plan is to have 33,000 people living on that site and the roads can't handle it.

The list goes on of the damages he created as he this former land developer looked after his developer friends, and as the people showed him in the last election, he wouldn't support us as mayor, so we won't support you an MLA.

He was soundly defeated and will be again, if he tries to run in Edmonton.
