Dear editor:
The Cochrane Ladies Walking Group meets on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings at the parking lot at Mitford Park and we are appalled every morning by the amount of garbage strewn over this area.
There is a garbage can up by the washrooms, but none in the actual parking lot. Most of the garbage is from the nearby fast food restaurant.
Also, we have only once encountered a town employee picking up the trash. Could the Town of Cochrane please secure a trash receptacle in this location?
