What a kick off! This past weekend we launched fully into our Share Your Christmas campaign. Several Christmas markets were held and food/money was collected as admission.
Thousands of people came to enjoy Cochrane's traditional Light Up on main street, many of you stopped by with donations, and to give Santa a hint of what you are wishing for under the tree. We thank all who came out for these events.
More events are coming soon, Sat., Dec.1 drop by Canadian Tire parking lot to STUFF a BUS from 11 to 4pm, bring your new gift items, or non-perishable food donations. Thurs., Dec.13 at 3pm CP Holiday Train will be stopped at the Provincial Building, Sat. Dec. 15th Spray Lake Family Sports Centre has a Christmas Market and food donations are accepted as entry.
As well, you will notice many businesses, churches and schools are participating with donation programs.
In your mail last week we sent out flyers with info on how to donate.
The Share Your Christmas program is a huge undertaking. We can't do it without your help Cochrane! We want to be certain all who are in need will have a Christmas this year.
