On behalf of the staff of the Calgary Eyeopener, CBC Calgary’s morning radio program, we’d like to thank Eagle editor Derek Clouthier for joining us on our show Jan. 2.
We were very interested in his request to readers to send more letters and more feedback for the Eagle’s editorial page.
During the course of the interview, Mr. Clouthier suggested the newspaper would publish each and every letter it receives — within reason.
We are writing this letter not only as an offer of thanks for the interview, but to test the veracity of Mr. Clouthier’s statement.
