Thanks for coming out

Dear editor:

The Springbank Creative Arts Club would like to extend a huge ‘thank you’ to everyone who braved the weather to attend the “Show & Sale” held Nov. 2-3 at the Springbank High School gymnasium.

Your support of this very special 30th anniversary Springbank celebration was appreciated. The first 30 attendees each day received an anniversary gift, as well.

‘Congratulations’ go out to Calla Shaw, Johanne Kozak, Kerri Chambers, Julie Stover, Laurie McGowan, the winners of the door prize draws. Thank you to the vendors and members who contributed their fabulous products to these baskets.

A big ‘thank you’ to everyone who helped put this event together. Thanks also to 660 Radio network for announcing this event, the Park Patter, Cochrane Eagle, High Country News and Rocky View Weekly for covering the story.

A donation will be given to the Springbank Community High School. This gift will be designated to the School’s art and gymnastics department. If you are interested in becoming part of this club, as an artist, crafter or just want to come out and meet like-minded members of the Springbank community, please contact [email protected] for more information.

The next Springbank Creative Arts Club Sale will be held Nov. 1-2, 2014.

On a final note, the Springbank Creative Arts Club will end the 2013 season with a dinner and gift exchange.

Merry Christmas to all and a happy New Year.
