Dear editor:
On a bright, sunny, crisp morning, I walked across the car park to vote at the Bow Valley Baptist Church.
During the short wait in pleasant surroundings, I couldn’t help but think of people in many areas of the world who walk for days and stand for hours in sweltering heat just so they can have their say and vote.
They didn’t sit at home and say, “My vote won’t make a difference.”
Sixty-seven per cent of the eligible voters in this town should be ashamed!
