Mitford litter bugs

Dear editor: The Cochrane Ladies Walking Group meets on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings at the parking lot at Mitford Park and we are appalled every morning by the amount of garbage strewn over this area.

Golf tournament benefits youth

Thank you to all who all who participated in St. Mary’s first golf tournament. The tournament was a success. The weather cooperated and all the players enjoyed themselves. We had 72 golfers with a total of 85 for dinner.

Support Terry Fox Run

I am writing to let everyone know that the 2016 Cochrane Terry Fox Run will be happening on Sunday September 18 in Mitford Park, a beautiful location for this great run! Registration opens: 10:00 a.m. Walk/run start: 11:00 a.m.
