Police are on the lookout for a male suspect who broke into a Cochrane residence Feb. 12 and walked out with purses and various other items.

Cochrane RCMP responded to 249 Ross Ave. after receiving a 911 call at 1:26 a.m. Those inside the residence were unharmed.

Surveillance photos were obtained of the suspect, showing him to be Caucasian, slim-to-medium build, approximately six feet tall and appearing to be in his early 20s. The suspect was wearing light-coloured shoes and jacket with a hood, as well as a pair of jeans; his head covered by a dark-coloured hood.

On Feb. 2 between 2:20-2:30 p.m. two suspects from a four-door Dodge pickup truck, possibly beige or silver in colour, entered the Park for all Seasons parking lot in Springbank and proceeded to break into two vehicles that were parked directly across from the main doors of the arena.

The only description police have of the suspects is that they were wearing dark-coloured jackets.

If anyone has any information regarding the above crimes call Cochrane RCMP at 403-851-8000 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
