CAHS hosting canine reactivity seminar Nov. 7

The seminar is designed for dogs who are reactive with other dogs, people or other stimuli while on a leash. The event will cover why dogs behave in this way and what owners can do to help.

The Cochrane and Area Humane Society is hosting a canine reactivity seminar Nov. 7 with Tracy Keith, co-founder and department head of behaviour at the humane society. 

The seminar is designed for dogs who are reactive with other dogs, people or other stimuli while on a leash. The event will cover why dogs behave in this way and what owners can do to help. 

The early bird registration fee is $45 until Oct. 25, and the regular fee of $50 kicks in after that date. The event will go from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. Those interested can register at cochranehumane.ca.
