The Footstock family race day will be held Sunday, June 5 at Spray Lake Sawmills Family Sports Centre.
Races start at 7:30 am, with the Kids Triathlon going off at 10:30. Organizers suggest arriving at least 15 minutes before your start time.
Designed as a race for both fitness enthusiasts and recreational runners, participants can race their favourite distance, and cheer on family and friends as they compete.
The race choices are a five-kilometres (km) fun run, a 10-km run, 18-km run, 18-km family or corporate relay, and a kids’ triathlon for participants ages three to 15 years old.
Athletes will be advised of their start time when they register. The transition area opens at 6:30 a.m. and closes at 10 a.m.
Cycling/running shoes can be left in a transition area and racers are advised to bring another pair to wear before the race starts.
