Tim Bannister Memorial Rink Closure
Due to the recent spell of warm weather, the Tim Bannister Memorial Rink has closed to the public. The Town of Cochrane has cited poor ice conditions as the reason for the closure. The newest addition to the ice surfaces in town, the downtown rink, located on the corner of 2nd Avenue and 2nd Street West, near Highway 1A, remains open to the public, as does the Mitford Pond ice surface. The Town has also issued a reminder to stay off of stormwater facilities, creeks and rivers. For updates to Town facilities call the 24-hour update line at 403-851-2552.
