For those looking for work, you are in luck. On Saturday, February 22 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. the Cochrane Job Fair will be taking place at the Lions Club Event Centre.
The annual event, which is in its tenth instalment, brings in more than 300 individuals looking for employment and provides a space for employers to easily hunt for the appropriate candidate to fit their needs. In a world so digitally driven this occasion will bring it back to the basics and allow you to exhibit a visual portfolio of yourself while connecting with new people in the community.
Those interested can also attend a resume writing session at 11:30 a.m. followed by an interview skills session at 12:30 p.m.
Currently there are 31 exhibitors registered including Town and Country Auto Parts, Big Hill Lodge, Wintergreen Golf and Country Club, Canadian Forces, Banff Sunshine Village, Primerica Financial Services and many more.
