Cochrane RCMP looking for break and enter culprits

Break and enter suspects sought by police

Cochrane RCMP is on the hunt for suspects who attempted to gain entry into a Rocky View County residence using a crowbar on Aug. 11.

Shortly after 7 p.m. police were called to a residence on Alexa Close in Rocky View County for a break and enter. The homeowner saw two vehicles pull up to the residence and two males walked to the front door and attempted to pry open the door with a crowbar. The homeowner called out that they were calling the police and the suspects fled.

The suspects were travelling in a red Mitsubishi Endeavour and a black Nissan Pathfinder. One suspect was described as a skinnier white male wearing a red jacket with reflective stripes about halfway down the forearm on both arms, black pants, sneakers and a blue or black baseball hat wearing a black hoodie. A second male was thicker build wearing a red polo shirt with the collar popped, a black or blue hat, dark coloured pants, black sneakers and holding a crowbar.

Surveillance footage appears to show the suspects on the property an hour before the attempted break and enter wearing service shirts.
