Cochrane RCMP respond to altercation at elementary school in Bearspaw

A female suspect has been arrested, however her name will not be released until as the investigation is ongoing.

Cochrane RCMP responded to a report of an altercation at an elementary school in Bearspaw, Rocky View County, at approximately 9 a.m this morning where an adult victim was threatened with a knife. The victim was not injured.

A female suspect has been arrested, however her name will not be released until as the investigation is ongoing.

Cst. Bonnie Sauve of the Crime Reduction Unit at the Cochrane detachment told The Eagle that until information is sworn, they will not be able to release a lot of detail.

“I can tell you that the female suspect is not a teacher or a student – that’s really all I can tell you right now,” Sauve said.
