Cochrane RCMP are looking to locate a man involved in a recent altercation outside of a Second Ave. business.
The fight between the two male individuals took place on Sept. 24, according to Cochrane RCMP, when officers and emergency medical services personnel were dispatched to a report about a fight that had broken out.
"Emergency crews arrived on scene and found a male unconscious as the result of an assault," a press release stated. "The victim regained consciousness and was transported to hospital by ground ambulance with significant head injuries. It was later determined the victim’s injuries included multiple broken bones in his face that required surgery to repair, and a brain bleed."
The suspect was described by witnesses as having a light complexion with a lean/athletic build. He was wearing a black tucked-in T-shirt, jeans, boots, and a ball cap.
