Cochrane reports 12 active cases of COVID-19

As of the end of the day Monday (March 1) there were a reported 12 active cases of COVID-19 in Cochrane. To date 333 cases of the virus have been reported in town— Two people have died and 319 people have recovered.

COCHRANE— The number of active COVID-19 in Cochrane is slowly increasing. 

As of the end of the day Monday (March 1) there were a reported 12 active cases of COVID-19 in Cochrane. To date 333 cases of the virus have been reported in town— Two people have died and 319 people have recovered.

In the last 24-hours, 257 new cases of COVID-19 have been identified in Alberta after the completion of 5,864 tests

The provincial testing positivity rate sits at 4.5 per cent.

There are 261 COVID-related hospitalizations, including 54 patients in intensive care units.

The province reported two additional COVID-related deaths. To date, 1,890 Albertans have died.

As of Monday, 245,000 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in the province, and 88,000 Albertans have been fully immunized with two doses.

There are 4,631 active cases of COVID-19 in Alberta.
