Cochrane reports 44 cases of COVID-19

As of Sunday (Jan. 17), there were a reported 44 cases of the virus in Cochrane. To date, 301 cases have been identified in the town. A total of 256 people have recovered and one person has died.

COCHRANE— Active COVID-19 cases in Alberta and Cochrane are seeing a steady decline.

As of Sunday (Jan. 17), there were a reported 44 cases of the virus in Cochrane. To date, 301 cases have been identified in the town. A total of 256 people have recovered and one person has died.

In Alberta, 474 new cases of COVID-19 have been identified after the completion of 8,500 tests.

The provincial positivity rate currently sits at 5.4 per cent.

There are 739 hospitalized due to the virus, including 120 in intensive care.

There were an additional 11 COVID-related deaths reported. To date, 1,447 people have died.
