The Spray Lake Sawmills Family Sports Centre (SLSFSC) arena is now hosting a 55+ hockey group for men and women every Tuesday and Thursday from 11 a.m. to noon.
Organizers hope to receive enough interest to build two teams. If 20 or more players sign up, a spare/waitlist will be created. Participants are required to play in full equipment and no slapshots or body contact is allowed on the ice.
There is no charge to play with the group for those with a membership to SLSFSC. Without a membership, the cost is $39 per month.
