Kiwanis Club's Chase the Ace pool reaches new high

COCHRANE— The Kiwanis Club of Cochrane’s Chase the Ace contestant pool reached $1,700 this week.

The pool rolls over each week, building on the previous week’s amount if a winner is not found.

This week a winner will be selected from the tickets sold this week just after 9 p.m. at The Venue at 79 Railway Street.

Tickets for the event are $5 and are available this week through the Kiwanis club and its members. Tickets will also go on sale at The Venue at 5 p.m. on Saturday (Oct. 24).

Proceeds from the Chase the Ace event go to funding the Kiwanis Clubs various community programs, including the Christmas Toy Project for disadvantaged youth, the bike recycling and safety program, kids leadership programs and Kamp Kiwanis.
