Local theft unsolved, Morley investigation ongoing

The incident, which is believed to have occurred between 3-3:30 a.m., resulted in about $2,500 worth of missing Makita power tools. Other than the stolen goods, there was no other damage to the building.

“Staff were waxing the floors in the building near the time of the theft and left the door propped open while they were working,” said Stannard. “The suspect(s) are thought to have entered through that door.”

No images or video footage related to the incident is available.

Meanwhile, the break-and-enter that occurred April 24 at the Chief Goodstoney Rodeo Centre in Morley is still under investigation by the RCMP.
