It can be easy to get caught up in all the news surrounding COVID-19 and to forget that children can to be feeling the stresses as well.
On Friday, April 3, Mayor Jeff Genung will be issuing a special online update for Cochrane's children and youth.
"I want to hear how Cochrane youth are dealing with this situation," said Genung. "Kids have a perspective to share and concerns that I would like to address with them specifically."
Some of the questions youth will be asked to elaborate on are:
- How are you dealing with having to stay home?
- How are you feeling?
- Are you missing your friends? How are you staying in touch?
- How have you adjusted to all the change - no school, no sports, no activities?
- What's the best thing about staying home?
- What do you think the Town can do to help you?
The live video will broadcast on the Facebook page "Town of Cochrane Administration" as well as the Town's Instagram page @TownofCochrane at 11 a.m. Youth can also submit their own questions to discuss during the update.
