The Cochrane Foundation will be holding their annual fall dinner Oct. 26 this year, featuring a special guest appearance by Barb Higgins (former journalist and newscaster for Calgary CTV), this year’s featured speaker.

The dinner will be held at the Links of GlenEagles, beginning at 6:30 p.m. and tickets are selling fast.

“The last day to get tickets is Oct. 19,” said Shana Bruder, Cochrane Foundation board member. “Tickets are $100 and can be purchased at ATB Financial.”

The dinner is a fundraiser to help the Foundation continue their ongoing endowment fund, granting monies to various community groups and projects pertaining to arts and culture, environment, youth, education, health and recreation.

John Copithorne will be the man on the mic for the live auction, following the dinner. Included in the live auction will be art work finished by Cochrane Art Club ‘artists in action’ that evening.
