The Cochrane Classic Car Club, engines still hot after its fall show over the weekend, will gear up for another good cause this weekend.
Around 230 classic vehicles showed up for the Fall Colours Show N Shine on Sept. 8 and the club is inviting even more drivers to hit the road for this weekend's poker rally.
The rally starts at 11 a.m. on Sept. 15 at Northstar Ford where the card dealing will begin. Drivers will head out to Bragg Creek where the dealing will continue. Cars will then carry on to Milarville Race Track before heading back along the same route.
Upon return, the best hand will win 50 per cent of the pot with the other half of the money donated to the Veteran's Food Bank.
The cost to play is $10 for one poker hand or $25 for three poker hands.
