Starting Sunday, Sept. 19, Albertans will have the ability to access a printable card of their vaccine records.

Minister of Health Tyler Shandro said the cards will be accessible through MyHealth Records via the MyHealth Alberta website.

Over 110,000 Albertans have created their MyHealth Records account in the last three weeks.

The government of Alberta is recommending that Albertans plan ahead and save their proof of vaccination card on their phone or print it out before the needed date.

The provincial government has recently implemented new restrictions to help stop the spread of COVID-19.

Starting Sept. 20, businesses like restaurants, lounges and bars as well as many events must follow one of these two options: implement the Restrictions Exemption Program requiring proof of vaccination or negative test result from customers to continue operating without additional restrictions, or; follow business capacity and operating restrictions.
