Cochrane

The Royal Canadian Legion Cochrane Branch will be going ahead with its annual wreath-laying ceremony at the community cenotaph on 5th Avenue across from the Legion building. The area immediately around the cenotaph will be cordoned off to prevent public access, as the ceremony is invite-only for VIPs, veterans and their families this year. The public is discouraged from attending in person, and the ceremony proceedings will be live-streamed on the Royal Canadian Legion Cochrane Branch’s Facebook page, as well as on Urban Casual Cochrane beginning at 10:40 a.m. on Wednesday (Nov. 11).
