June 2 kicks off Seniors Week in the community and there are a number of events to help keep area seniors entertained. The following is a list of some of the events happening. If you know of anymore let us know.

June 2 kicks off Seniors Week in the community and there are a number of events to help keep area seniors entertained. The following is a list of some of the events happening. If you know of anymore let us know.

June 2 - Classic Country Show: Popovich Productions Ltd at the RancheHouse Theatre at 1:30 p.m. Free tickets available at Seniors on the Bow.
June 3 - Free drop-in workouts at Goodlife Fitness from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Register at Goodlife.
June 3 -  Monday movie at Seniors on the Bow at 1:15 p.m.. Free, registration is required.
June 3 - Elder Abuse Committee lilac tree planting ceremony at Frank Wills Memorial Hall at 1:30 p.m.
June 4 - Seniors’ Tea at the Cochrane RancheHouse. Free tickets available at FCSS
June 5 - Happy Hour and entertainment at Grande Avenue Village between 3 and 4 p.m. Register fro free event at 403-851-2534
June 6- Seniors Swim at the Jayman Built Aquatic Centre. Free for seniors over 60 to swim and use the warm water therapy pool from 6 a.m. until noon.
June 6 - Stockmen’s Memorial Foundation: Stories of Bill Bagley a Cochrane Horseman at the Cochrane RancheHouse from 1:30- 2:30 p.m. Free tickets are available at Seniors on the Bow or the Stockmen’s Library
June 7- Seniors’ Lunch at Seniors on the Bow from 12-1:30 p.m. for $3. Registration is required  for the event limited to 100 people. Call 403-932-6002.
June 7- Krang Spirits tour either 11 a.m. or 2 p.m. The tour features tastings. Free to  seniors. Register by calling 403-851-2534
