DOLLARS FOR DOGS: Angie Perera of Smitty's Restaurant in Cochrane has a visit at the Cochrane and Area Humane Society with Janaia Hutzal and pup Kelly. The restaurant, which recently reopened at #28-312 Fifth Ave raised over $500 for the shelter and is looking to boost that number during their grand opening on Wednesday, June 26 for their $1.99 pancake breakfast from 7 a.m.-2 p.m. - with all proceeds going toward CAHS.

With $500 already in the pot from their recent VIP Breakfast event, owner Angie Perera is looking to boost this amount on Wednesday, June 26 with all proceeds from their grand opening pancake breakfast event going to the cause.

The $1.99 pancake breaky includes two hot cakes, sausage and scrambled eggs, hot off the griddle from 7 a.m.-2 p.m..

Smitty's Restaurant is celebrating their new digs at 28-312 Fifth Ave (Safeway Mall).
