STONEY NAKODA – The RCMP believe human remains found earlier this week are of a missing man from Stoney Nakoda.
In a press release, Cochrane RCMP said they believe the remains of Bradley Holloway, 41, were discovered on Monday (Feb. 17) in a remote location on the Stoney Nakoda First Nation.
After RCMP responded to a call of a body found, an initial search found human remains with an additional search the following day conducted with the help of Cochrane Search and Rescue, RCMP Police Dog Services, RCMP Identification Services and Calgary PDS.
RCMP said based on items located at the scene, they believe the remains belong to Holloway.
Bradley was last seen by his family on Nov. 22 with RCMP issuing a missing person press release on Dec. 4.
"Bradley Holloway’s disappearance is not considered suspicious at this time," says Cpl. Troy Savinkoff of the Cochrane RCMP said in a press release.
"We are still actively investigating this matter and are open to many possibilities."
RCMP officers are awaiting testing for definitive identification.
