The Cochrane Eagle joins forces with the Easter Bunny

COCHRANE— Helping the Easter bunny celebrate the holidays this year, the Cochrane Eagle is hosting an Easter Egg Hunt and colouring contest this week.

The contest is sponsored by Mehtab East Indian Cuisine.

Cochrane kids are invited to colour the egg featured in the April 9 edition of the Cochrane Eagle on page 13 and place it in their window for the entire community to see by Sunday (April 12).

“It’s Easter— and right now because of the social distancing, kids don’t get the chance to get out, they don’t get to go out for dinner or maybe have an Easter Egg hunt,” said Cochrane Eagle publisher Shaun Jessome. “We will try to offer one this way."

Families are encouraged to set out on the hunt and walk or drive in their neighbourhoods, while maintaining social distancing, and count the eggs they find in windows.

Email [email protected] particpants names and let us know many eggs you discovered during the hunt.

Send your entry to the Cochrane Eagle by Wednesday (April 15) at 5 p.m. for your chance to win a $100 gift certificate from Mehtab East Indian Cuisine.

The prize winner will be selected by a random draw on April 16 and their name will be announced on cochranetoday.ca.
