The Town of Cochrane reports 10 active cases of COVID-19

The Town of Cochrane had a reported 10 active cases of COVID-19 as of the end of the day Wednesday (Feb. 17). To date, Cochrane has reported 324 cases of the virus— Two people have died and 312 people have recovered.

COCHRANE— The number of active cases of COVID-19 in Cochrane is continuing to rise.

The Town of Cochrane had a reported 10 active cases of COVID-19 as of the end of the day Wednesday (Feb. 17). To date, Cochrane has reported 324 cases of the virus— Two people have died and 312 people have recovered.

The province reported 415 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours after the completion of 10,275 tests.

The provincial testing positivity rate sits at 4.2 per cent.

There are currently 362 COVID-related hospitalizations, including 55 people in intensive care units.

The province reported an additional seven COVID-19 related deaths. To date, 1,805 Albertans have died.

As of Wednesday, the province has administered 155,532 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine. To date, 58,674 Albertans have been fully immunized with two doses.

There are 4,887 active cases of COVID-19 in Alberta.
