For the third straight season, Cochrane's Beth Vinnell and the University of Calgary Dinos volleyball team are headed to nationals which begin March 13 at the Jack Simpson Gym in Calgary.

Calgary had an up and down season, finishing 9-15 on the year, but qualified for the 2020 USports Women's Volleyball Championships with being the host team. Vinnell had a great season, as the two-time All-Canadian garnered 184 kills offensively to go along with 14 assists, 12 aces and 234.5 total points. On defence, she had 57 digs, six solo blocks, 65 assisted blocks and 71 total blocks.

The Dinos will face off with the top-ranked Trinity Western Spartans, the champions of the Canada West in the quarter-finals with the game beginning at 6 p.m. Tickets are available on the Dinos website and will also be sold at the door. Ticket prices range from $50 for a weekend pass to $10 for a youth day pass. All games will be streamed on USports.live via subscription.
