Cochrane Minor Hockey product, and long-time Coda Gordon linemate, James Robinson has signed a letter of intent to play hockey for National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division 1 school Penn State University. Currently playing for the Langley Rivermen in the B.C. Hockey League, Robinson tallied nine goals and 33 assists in his rookie season for the Junior A club located in the Vancouver suburb.

The 19-year-old forward can’t wait to get started with the Pennsylvania-based university in the 2014-15 season.

“I am very excited about my commitment to Penn State,” Robinson said in a prepared statement released by the Langley Rivermen. “They have a great hockey program to go along with a fabulous school, and I am proud that I will be a part of it all.”
