After spending most of the second half of the season in the American Hockey League, Dillon Dube is back with the Flames.

Cochranite Dillon Dubé has been recalled by the Calgary Flames ahead of their April 3 National Hockey League (NHL) match up with the Anaheim Ducks.

Dubé spent the first portion of the season with the big club, suiting up in 23 games, recording his first NHL goal on Nov. 21 in a 6-3 win over the Winnipeg Jets. He also chipping in with four assists during those contests while rotating between the left side of veterans Derek Ryan and James Neal as well as Mark Jankowski and Garnet Hathaway.

Since being assigned to the American Hockey League's (AHL) Stockton Heat, the 20-year-old forward has recorded 15 goals and 24 assists for 39 points in 37 games which is good for sixth on the team despite having less games played.

Dubé will suit up for tonight's game on the left side of Mark Jankowski and James Neal.

"Yeah it's exciting. It's nice to finish off (the season) here and get the opportunity. The plan was to go to Stockton and develop my game and to get rewarded with a couple games ... we'll start here and see what happens but just to be able to get into a game at the end of the year is nice," Dubé during an interview with Flames TV.

"I'm just going to try and do my best tonight and go from there. They're (the coaching staff) are the ones the make the decisions so I'm going to put my best foot forward and control what I can tonight."

The Ducks defeated the Flames by a score of 3-1.
