The Cochrane Generals are going undefeated into their Junior B Provincials sem-final game tonight.
This morning the Generals defeated the Beaumont Chiefs handily with a 5-2 victory. It was their third win in the three-game round robin portion of the tournament.
However, the Gens had another close call Friday night with a last-minute 5-4 win over the St. Paul Canadiens. Patrick Forde gave the Gens the go-ahead goal with less than five minutes left in the game.
The Generals got their first victory at the Provincials tournament Thursday night, winning 5-4 against the St. John Huskies.
