OHL roundup: Greyhounds top Wolves, Spirit down Firebirds

Overtime had barely begun Wednesday when Tye Kartye poked a shot in to give the Soo Greyhounds a 4-3 victory over the Sudbury Wolves in Ontario Hockey League play. 

Kartye's goal came 25 seconds into overtime and followed a pair of regulation markers from Rory Kerins. Robert Calisti also scored for Sault Ste. Marie (4-2-0). 

Sudbury (2-4-1) went down 2-0 early in the first period before getting goals from David Goyette, Evan Konyen and Nick DeGrazia. 

Samuel Ivanov had 25 saves to secure the win for the Greyhounds, while Wolves goalie Mitchell Weeks stopped 47-of-51 shots.

FLINT, MICH. — Flint (2-1-0) jumped out to a 2-0 lead early but couldn't hold on as Saginaw (2-1-0) tied it up before the first intermission, then pulled away in the third.
