BINT, Darryl Joseph

September 25, 1948 – Saskatoon, SK
March 24, 2022 – Cochrane, AB

It is with great sadness Darryl’s family announces his passing at Foothills Hospital in Calgary, Alberta. Darryl was born to Joseph and Agnes Bint. He grew up, was educated, and lived in Saskatoon until 2001 when Darryl moved his family and his business to Cochrane, AB.

Family was everything to Darryl. He was devoted to his sons, grandkids, and his wife Linda. He loved taking Nigel and Davis fishing and laughing and playing with Hanna and Maddy. He loved helping his sons with renovations to their homes and just hanging out with them.

Darryl loved sitting around the kitchen table having coffee, sharing stories about hunting, fishing, golfing, curling, or whatever new bird he spotted on his bird feeders with his little dog Joey on his lap.

He had such a love for nature.

His sense of humour was such an endearing and fun part of his character. He could get a chuckle out of anyone.

Darryl loved his many trips to various locations in Mexico.

Darryl will be dearly missed by his wife, Linda; sons, Cory Zoller (Nicki Knight), Code Bint (dear Meghan); precious grandkids, Nigel and Davis Zoller, Hanna and Madelyn Bint; brother-in-law, Paul (Rena) Gaulin; nieces, Lauri Rose Friesen, Amelia Gaulin, Laura Evanowich; nephews, Kirk Rose, Walker and Steven Bint; and many cousins; and so many special friends, Karen, Perry, Duane, Tony, Kelly, Joe, Curtis, Janice, Wendi, Claude, and Linda.

Darryl was predeceased by his mom and dad; brother, Mervin; son, Dean Zoller; sister-in-law, Gloria Rose; and in-laws, Mary and Leo Gaulin.

Darryl’s remaining sibling left to mourn is Gloria Teed of Saskatoon.

Darryl’s family would like to express appreciation for his care in unit 47 at Foothills Hospital.

A Celebration of Darryl’s Life will be held at a later date. Memorial donations would be appreciated by Darryl to go to the Cochrane Humane Society www.cochranehumane.ca

Messages of Condolence may be left for the family at www.cochranecountryfuneral.com.
