DAVIDSON, Yvonne Constance

January 22, 1928 – October 16, 2021

Yvonne Constance Davidson passed away peacefully into the arms of Jesus, October 16, 2021. Yvonne was a woman of faith who was loved by all. She was a faithful companion for our father in his different endeavours.  She married Darrell on September 28, 1948, where they lived at the coal mine Dad owned since he was 16 years old.  After 3 years they moved into Grantville (suburb of Three Hills) where they lived for many years.  Yvonne was wife, mother, bookkeeper, incredible organizer and trainer.  She ran her household with efficiency and plenty of love taking the time to teach us children responsible living.  She was a woman of incredible patience.  We will miss her dearly.

Yvonne was predeceased by her husband Darrell in 2011; her daughter Linda in 2010; her infant son Roy in 1950; both her parents, George and Frances Mills; and her sisters Marjorie Caldwell, Joyce Sherrif, and Eileen Brinson.  She is survived by her children, Bill (Sandy), Wendy (Peter), Tim (Jean), Lindsay (Sandie), Ron (Dianne), Gary (Pamela), Phil (Triny), and son-in-law Larry (Sharon); her twenty-nine grandchildren and forty-three great-grandchildren; her sister Patricia Matthews; her brother-in-law Wes Davidson and sisters-in-law Ruth Johnson and Nettie Davidson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

We as a family want to take this opportunity to thank the incredible staff on Memory Care 2 of the Holy Cross Manor.  Your love for our Mom was evident in the care she received.  God bless each of you as you continue to serve other families as you did ours.

A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, October 22, 2021 at 10:30 am at Three Hills Cemetery, Three Hills, AB.  Memorial donations may be made to 3CM (Cross Cultural Christian Mission) by mail at Box 1714, Cochrane, AB T4C 1B6 or through e-transfer to [email protected].

Condolences may be left for the family at www.cochranecountryfuneral.com.
