Margery LaVerne Munro (nee Sayers) passed away peacefully on Wednesday May 29, 2019 at the Rockyview Hospital surrounded by her family. Marge is survived by her four children: Susan (Brian), Brenda, Brent and Clarence; three grandchildren: Marlene (Mark), Michael (Chelsea) and David (Kelcy); two great granddaughters: Charlotte and Avery; her sister Margaret Reed and brother Bob Sayers. She is predeceased by her husband (Bill) and brother (Bill Sayers).
Funeral service will be held at the Westlife Church in Springbank across from Calaway Park, on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. Reception to follow. There will be a private interment at Springbank United Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to iCross Canada (www.icrosscanada.com), an organization Marge supported for many years.
The family wishes to thank all of Marge’s caregivers over recent years: staff at Cochrane Bethany Supportive Living, Shannon Lappin, and most recently Dr. Friesen and the palliative care staff on Unit 72 at Rockyview Hospital. She will remain in our hearts forever.
