We are saddened to announce the sudden passing of Kerry Parkin on Sunday, January 12, 2020 at the age of 64 years.
Kerry and Renee moved out West together in 1976 and were married in Calgary on June 30, 1979. They worked hard to create a life and memories in the country for their family in the Waiparous area. His passion for the outdoors and hunting led to many years shared with his son Jeff. His strong work ethic, sense of humour and love of animals will be carried on by his daughter Jamie-Lee. Kerry and Renee were inseparable and they enjoyed many, many years spent together.
Besides his loving wife of forty years Renee, Kerry is also lovingly remembered by his son and daughter-in-law Jeff and Sarah Parkin; his daughter Jamie-Lee Parkin; his grandsons, Ryan and Mason Parkin; his mother Joan (Martin) Hewson; his brother Kevin (Maria) Parkin; and extended family and friends.
Kerry was predeceased by his father Charlie Parkin; and his younger brother Blaine Parkin.
A Celebration of Kerry’s Life will be held at Lazy H Trail Company (264130 Jamieson Road, West of Cochrane) on Friday, January 24, 2020 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Condolences, memories and photos may be shared and viewed on Kerry’s obituary at www.McInnisandHolloway.com.
