Ullery, Connie Margaret
1942 - 2021
Connie Margaret Ullery was born September 28, 1942 in Port Arthur, Ontario. She was the only child to Art Fenton and Ada Fenton (Beynon). Connie passed away peacefully at Foothills Medical Centre on Friday, August 13, 2021 surrounded by her loving family.
At the age of 3, the family moved west and settled in the Cochrane area, attending school in Calgary. After her school years, she worked for Motor Car Supply and in 1960, she met the man who would change everything. In May 1962, she married the love of her life Jim Ullery, remaining happily married for 59 years. They welcomed 4 children into their life. Throughout their lives, Connie supported all of their kids sporting endeavours with a special passion for rodeo. She became "rodeo mom" to many other young men and women over the years.
Connie is survived by her loving husband, Jim; daughter, Kelly (Rick) Nash; sons, Kenny (Trish Brown), Wayne (Kelly), and Keith (Lori). She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and one in the oven.
A Celebration of Life will take place at the Cochrane Lions Event Centre (Rodeo Grounds - 109 Fifth Ave, Cochrane, AB) on Monday, August 23 at 2:00 p.m.
